Established for over 30 years, Maytree Pre-School is held in The Hive, Woodbury Community Playing Fields, Woodbury. We run five mornings (with optional lunch clubs) and five afternoons a week throughout school term time.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and welcome children from the term before their third birthday until school age.

Maytree gives children their first experience of school and as such, we aim to provide a secure and stimulating learning environment for the children offering them a wide variety of experiences and opportunities to develop their interests and understanding.

All children are individuals who develop skills and abilities at their own pace. Our focus is in helping your child become a confident person who can develop his or her potential whilst having fun with children their own age.

Pre-School Learning Alliance

As a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance, we have achieved their quality assurance mark for exceptional standards of care and education and have access to a library of resources and support from this educational charity.

Woodbury CofE Primary School

We maintain very close links with Woodbury CE Primary School where many of our children move on to. We regularly join in with school activities and have our own gardening area in the school garden. We also arrange weekly visits (for children who will be starting Reception class) in the second half of the summer term.
